Rimless Reef

Well, I had attached a rimless (24x24x12) tank into my main system but decided not to make it a frag tank. I rarely sell corals so it seemed like a waste.

So........

I had some live rock along with sand sitting around so I decided to set the tank up as a real tank instead of a frag tank.

I moved over all of my zoo's and a few acans from the main tank. I also picked up a few new zoo's and acans as well. I purchased a sweet watchman goby/pistol shrimp combo and they are doing great. Here are some of the purchases and highlights of the new setup:

Setup

Rimless 24x24x12
250W phoenix 14K Reef Optix III on Ice cap ballast
Tunze 6045( I had two in there but it was TOO much flow for zoos and acans)

Livestock

assorted zoo's
assorted acan's
6 small chromis
2 clowns(moved from main display)
Watchman Goby/Pistol shrimp combo(AWESOME!)
2 blue Maxima clams(Put the 3rd new one in the main tank and is pictured above)

I will need to get some supplemental lighting as the zoo's under MH look very drab compared to what they looked like under T5's.
