So, recently I was not liking the coloration on my corals. Many of them seemed pale and faded. So, I picked up an Aquascience 22k Blue T5 to replace one of the Ati Aquablue Specials. The new bulb looks strikingly similar to the Ati Blue+ yet it gives off a slight actinic glow. Needless to say I am very happy with the bulb and the new color scheme.

In addition to the new bulb I have ramped up my dosages of  Prodibio Reef Booster Aminio Acid complex. I feel that my corals are lacking nutrition due to the system being ultra low nutrient.

I also picked up some Roti-Feast by Reef Nutrition recently to feed my SPS and corals. I have been using it for a week now and my corals seem to like it. They extend their feeders and are look slightly more colorful.

With the addition of this added nutrition to the tank I will need to monitor PO4 closely and adjust Vodka and bacterial dosage as need.

Well, that's its for now.

hi sonny really like your tank, got almost the same rimless, i like the whole open simple japanese/euro layouts.

I have a question did you stop dosing vodka? I'm just cycling my new tank doing biweekly of biodigest and optim and was thinking about feeding it vdka as carbon source once its finished cycling, let me know if its a bad idea.

keep up the great blog!! more posts :)
